CI Empower was created by former refugees who arrived in Kelowna and experienced the realities of starting over in a new country. Through their journey, they recognized a gap in accessible, community-driven support for newcomers navigating employment, education, and integration.
What started as lived experience and informal support evolved into CI Empower, a structured initiative designed to ensure others do not face these challenges alone. Today, CI Empower continues to grow as a platform built on empathy, resilience, and collective progress.
